What You Will Be Doing:
- Solving the Sequence Segmentation problem for data of different structures (texts, images, speech)
- Implementing various algorithms for this task.
- Researching and implementing new approaches, including neural network-based and hybrid algorithms, to solve the problem with large datasets.
- Considering the given constraints.
- Working with large datasets and implementing algorithms using distributed computing.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics.
- Practical experience in developing and implementing optimization algorithms for real-world problems.
- In-depth knowledge of graph theory, combinatorial optimization, and algorithms.
- Experience in solving the Sequence Segmentation problem using different methods: dynamic programming, greedy algorithms, metaheuristics, machine learning methods.
- Proficiency in programming languages: Python and frameworks numpy, scipy, sklearn or C / C++ / Fortran.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in NLP, working with Chunking, RAG tasks.
- Education / scientific activity in optimization methods, discrete mathematics, combinatorial optimization.
- Experience with neural networks and deep learning for solving optimization problems.
- Experience with cloud platforms and distributed computing to accelerate algorithms.
