What You Will Be Doing:

  • Solving the Sequence Segmentation problem for data of different structures (texts, images, speech)
  • Implementing various algorithms for this task.
  • Researching and implementing new approaches, including neural network-based and hybrid algorithms, to solve the problem with large datasets.
  • Considering the given constraints.
  • Working with large datasets and implementing algorithms using distributed computing.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics.
  • Practical experience in developing and implementing optimization algorithms for real-world problems.
  • In-depth knowledge of graph theory, combinatorial optimization, and algorithms.
  • Experience in solving the Sequence Segmentation problem using different methods: dynamic programming, greedy algorithms, metaheuristics, machine learning methods.
  • Proficiency in programming languages: Python and frameworks numpy, scipy, sklearn or C / C++ / Fortran.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in NLP, working with Chunking, RAG tasks.
  • Education / scientific activity in optimization methods, discrete mathematics, combinatorial optimization.
  • Experience with neural networks and deep learning for solving optimization problems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and distributed computing to accelerate algorithms.
